Nielsen Fernandez-Becker MD, PhD

Dr. Nielsen Fernandez-Becker, MD., Ph.D. graduated from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She completed her residency at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston and Gastroenterology Fellowship at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Harvard Medical School. She joined the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Stanford University in 2009.

She is currently a clinical associate professor at Stanford University School of Medicine. Dr. Fernandez-Becker specializes in Esophageal disorders, with a focus on eosinophilic esophagitis, celiac disease, and GI motility disorders. She is director of the Stanford Celiac Program and a member of the Stanford Esophageal Center.
